About us

Publishday is a privately held company established in 2010 in the field of publishing and digital content management (DCM).
Publishday is partly owned by Meridies Holding, a business development company established in July 2000 with the purpose of providing seed and growth capital to emerging companies, and participating in the growth and management of startup.

WHAT WE DO

Publishday provides editorial services and DCM solutions. It handles all steps of book, journal, magazine, and website production providing full cycle editorial coordination. Publishday manages the workflow from start to finish providing support in various areas: text creation/translation/revision, editing, proofreading, indexing, bibliographic and image search, design, layout, print. It assures reliable assistance from the first steps of the process to printing of products such as books, magazines, journals, websites, technical manuals, reports, white books, commercial and promotional materials, media kits, press releases, company profiles.
Publishday designs websites focusing particularly on ecommerce and creates and manages newsletters and mailing lists through CRM systems. The company moreover provides a wide range of services associated with DCM: management, storage, transformation and output of digital files with content presentation and individual asset assembly into final products (e.g. websites, newsletters, books, eBooks, journals, etc.) both online (or other digital format) and in printed form (POD).

Medicina delle Dipendenze - Italian Journal of the Addictions (MDD), official journal of the Società Italiana Tossicodipendenze (SITD), is an Italian scientific journal published quarterly by Publishday and established with the aim of becoming a preeminent communication tool on the biological basis of drug dependence. Its main goal is to spread correct information on the characteristics of psychotropic substances, on drug abuse and drug dependence case histories and available treatments and on the latest achievements in fundamental and clinical research in the field. Each monographic issue focuses on the debate and close examination of a single topic. The journal targets professionals working in the field of addiction throughout Italy; furthermore, because of the mixed technical nature of the articles, MDD may also prove useful for general practitioners, hospital doctors, psychiatrists and specialist consultants in various areas interested or involved in drug addiction, as well as students and professionals lacking a strictly medical background (social workers, psychologists, youth workers, teachers, penitentiary workers, etc.).
